United Intonations is a vibrant five-piece string ensemble from Graz, Austria, whose distinct voices and personalities fuse into a striking, cohesive sound and stage presence. Self-produced and self-directed, they record their own audio, create cinematic videos, and perform exclusive arrangements and original works written for the group. Their hands-on approach to every detail—musical, visual, and organizational—gives their performances an intimate confidence that draws audiences in.
Their adventurous repertoire spans centuries and styles: inventive reworkings of rock, jazz, and pop hits sit comfortably alongside refined interpretations of operetta, Viennese classics, musical theatre, and film scores. From classical gems to 20th-century favorites, each concert is curated as a narrative journey—genre-bending, emotionally rich, and full of surprises.
